GE Global Research Europe
GE technology hub in Europe
GE Global Research – Europe is GE’s Euro-
pean technology hub specializing in power
generation and propulsion systems, tech-
nologies for the oil & gas industry, systems
for sensing and inspection, and advanced
medical diagnostics.
With the new competence centers for
high-power electronics and gas-engine
technologies, GE continues to expand its
R&D presence in Europe and underscores
its commitment to technology leadership
and innovation. The center is furnished
with state-of- the-art experimental facili-
ties and a high-performance computing
infrastructure for numerical analysis and
simulation.

aging involving high-field magnetic reso-
nance methods (MRI); metabolic imaging
biomarkers; critical-care systems.
Manufacturing technologies: Automated
manufacturing of large-scale compo-
nents for application in the aviation,
oil & gas, as well as power-generation
industries.
European network
GE Global Research – Europe advances
GE’s position as a leader in technology
by leveraging European-based knowl-
edge and resources. It maintains a
strong and growing network of external
partners, companies and academia,
allowing GE to keep abreast of technol-
ogies and applications in which Europe
is a global leader.
It also keeps close ties to European GE
business units, primarily in the areas of
energy, oil & gas, healthcare, and avia-
tion. With its deep and broad expertise in
research and technology, the center has
become a critical resource for mid- and
long-term product innovation pipelines at
GE businesses.
